Akron's Rubber Industry 1976-1987: A Personal Journey

This is my book covering 11 years as an in-house photographer At Firestone and General Tire. I documented life in the plants and the death of the Rubber Industry in Akron. These were the years when tire production ended in Akron and moved South to non-union facilities. I was in some of the meetings when the decisions were made to leave our area and this is in the book. A set of these photos will go to the Akron Art Museum and several exhibitions are being planned.
